1. Acceptance of The Use of Half Face Blades (HFB) Website Terms and Conditions

 Your access to and use of the HFB website is subject exclusively to these Terms and Conditions. You will not use the website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms and Conditions or by law. By using the HFB website, you are fully accepting the terms, conditions and disclaimers contained in this notice. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions you must immediately stop and cease using the HFB website for any reason purpose.

2.  Credit Card Details

Valid credit card information must be provided at the time of order. Payment is processed immediately once the order is placed and there shall be no refunds or credits unless authorized in writing by HFB.

3.  Advice

The contents of the HFB website does not constitute advice and should not be relied upon in making, or refraining from making, any decision. Any user is to seek the advice and counsel of the user’s personal advisors and consultants.

4.  Change of Use

HFB reserves the right at any time or without notice to:

The HFB website may include links to third party websites that are controlled and maintained by others. Any link to other websites is not an endorsement of such websites and you acknowledge and agree that HFB is not responsible or is in any way liable for the content or availability of any such sites. The use of third part website is at the sole risk and responsibility of the user. No website should be sued prior to the user verifying that it is safe, contains no malware or has any viruses.

6.  Copyright

6.1 All copyright, trademarks, and all other intellectual property rights in the HFB website and its content (including without limitation the website design, text, graphics and all software and source codes connected with the website) are owned by or licensed to HFB or otherwise used by HFB as permitted by law.

6.2 In accessing the HFB website, you agree and represent that you will access the content solely for your personal, non-commercial use. None of the content may be downloaded, copied, reproduced, transmitted, stored, sold or distributed without the prior written consent of the copyright holder. This excludes the downloading, copying and/or printing of pages of the website for personal, non-commercial home use only. HFB is relying on the foregoing representation.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

7.1 To the extent allowed by law the products on the HFB website are provided on an AS IS (with defects known or unknown) and AS AVAILABLE basis without any representation or endorsement made and without warranty of any kind whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility, security and accuracy. To the extent allowed by law any and all warranties are specifically disclaimed.

7.2 To the extent permitted by law, HFB will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage whatsoever (including without limitation loss of business, opportunity, data, profits) arising out of or in connection with the use of the HFB website. Any user expressly disclaims any right to punitive or exemplary damages.

7.3 HFB makes absolutely no warranty that the functionality of the HFB website will be uninterrupted or error free, that defects will be corrected or that the HFB website or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or anything else which may be harmful or destructive.

7.4  HFB shall have no liability if any of its products are misused or used in any inappropriate or illegal manner. A user is urged to seek proper training and education in regards to the use of any HFB product. .

7.5  Knife steel is raw from American Crucible Steel.  Steel may show characteristics of raw steel from factory.  This is from the process of how raw steel is manufactured.   

8.  Warranty

HFB conducts its business in a proper, honest, and fair manner.  HFB products are designed to be used as tools in a broad range of proper-use cutting applications.  Like all tools, HFB products require proper maintenance to function and will experience every day wear and tear through being carried and used.  The nature of this every day wear and tear is subjective, and as such warranty can only be determined internally through HFB (not through blanket warranty across all products).

9.  Return & Repair Policy

All custom work completed by HFB is considered a final and non-revocable sale at the option of HFB.  All unused unopened products may be returned within 15 days if done so in the original packaging with all postage pre-paid. A restocking fee of 10% will be assessed on all purchases over $100. All returns and warranty repairs must be approved in advance by contacting HFB’s service department by emailing info@halffaceblades.com or by calling the shop, 858 397 2244. No collect calls will be accepted.

10. Order Cancellations

All requests for an order cancellation must be submitted via email to info@halffaceblades.com or call 8583972244. No collect calls will be accepted.

11. Website Terms

HFB strives to accurately describe and represent all products; however, errors may occur. The actual product itself will supersede any description.  Prices are subject to change at any time without notice.  HFB reserves the right to edit, change, or clarify descriptions at any time to correct any unknown errors in product listings.  Please be aware that items that are incorrectly listed or priced and subsequently ordered may be cancelled at HFB’s discretion.  In the event of a conflict in the description of an item, we reserve the right to remove the conflicting information once notified.  HFB makes no warranty on the accuracy of a product listing when a conflict in the product information is present. 

12. Blade and tool Purchases

HFB ships direct to the address and information given by the customer: The customer is responsible for knowing his/her state laws regarding blade/item legalities. The customer assumes all responsibility and cost for returned items.

HFB reserves the right to cancel/refund orders made utilizing third party software.

HFB encourages buyers to familiarize themselves with applicable laws and regulations regarding possession and the carrying of edged weapons in their states and jurisdictions.

14. Lead Times

HFB lead times are estimates and HFB will make every reasonable effort to ship within the time specified. If a lead time is not specified, the product is expected to ship within 30 days.

15. Shipping

HFB is not responsible for lost/stolen or damaged packages. Insurance on a package is optional at checkout. All orders over 100$ a require signature upon receipt.

16. Indemnity

Any use/purchaser agrees to indemnify and hold HFB and its employees and agents harmless from and against all liabilities, legal fees, damages, losses, harm, costs and other expenses in relation to any claims or actions brought against or suffered by HFB arising out of any breach by user/purchaser of these Terms and Conditions or other liabilities arising out of the use of HFB website. The foregoing indemnity shall have no limit in its scope or duration.

17. Severance

If any of these Terms and Conditions should be determined to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason by any court of competent jurisdiction then such Term or Condition shall be severed and the remaining Terms and Conditions shall survive and remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding and enforceable.

18. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of California. Venue is only appropriate in the state of California and the United States of America, and you hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of California. Venue is only appropriate in the State of California, County of San Diego.
